WATCH: Driver escapes unharmed as train strikes stalled car in Monroe County

MONROE COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – No injuries were reported after a train struck a stalled car in Monroe County on Monday.
It happened in the area of Little Collier Road at Collier Road just before 8:30 a.m., according to Monroe County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Anna Watkins. She says the driver was able to escape before the collision.
A motorist captured this video of crash, which the sheriff’s office shared with us.
The sheriff’s office is issuing a reminder to drivers that they should never come to a stop while on train tracks.
On Tuesday, three people were injured in a separate train-vehicle crash in Monroe County.
