Byron Welcome Center asking for donations for developmentally disabled adults
Residents of the Heart of Georgia Developmental Disabilities Ministries Home are asking for necessities and Christmas wishlist gifts.
BYRON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Byron Welcome Center is asking for your donations to help make Christmas a little brighter for adults with developmental disabilities.
Residents of the Heart of Georgia Developmental Disabilities Ministries Home are asking for hygiene products like body wash, razors and cleaning supplies.
“I feel like Christmas is so strongly focused towards children that it’s always good to provide Christmas for adults that need that extra help,” Tourism Specialist with the Byron Welcome Center, Selina Hall, said.
You can drop off your donations at the Byron Welcome Center now until December 15. The center is open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
