Laurens County manhunt ends with juvenile arrested
DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A male juvenile is in custody after a vehicle chase and manhunt in Laurens County Tuesday morning.
Chief Deputy Stan Wright with the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office says the incident started around 3:30 a.m. after a flock camera alert on a stolen vehicle in the city of Dublin. Deputies tried to pull the vehicle over at Veterans Blvd. and Lancaster, but the suspect wouldn’t stop.
The manhunt ended when the suspect was captured around 8 a.m.– the suspect is a male juvenile. Charges are pending.
The vehicle was found to be a van that was stolen out of Columbus, Georgia.
