MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Turnpike Troubadours are set to perform at the new Macon Amphitheater on April 27, 2024.

The group will appear with the Red Clay Strays and Brent Cobb in a show presented by Moonhanger Group and Mammoth, according to a news release from OVG360, which oversees the Macon City Auditorium, Macon Centreplex and Macon Amphitheater.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, December 8, at 10 a.m. Fans can purchase tickets online through ticketmaster.com or in-person at the Macon Coliseum box office on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Ticket prices start at $39.50, plus applicable taxes and fees.

After a three-year hiatus that started in 2019, the Turnpike Troubadors are back with the release of their sixth studio album, “A Cat in the Rain,” produced by three-time Grammy winner Shooter Jennings. The album, recorded at the iconic FAME Recording Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, and in Los Angeles, tells a story of reliability, rebirth and redemption.

Frontman Evan Felker, fiddler Kyle Nix, steel player Hank Early, guitarist Ryan Engleman, bassist RC Edwards and drummer Gabe Pearson make up the band, which has accumulated 1.5 billion streams globally and is known for its electrifying live performances, selling out arenas and headlining festivals.

The announcement of the Turnpike Troubadours concert adds to the first-year lineup at the still-under-construction Macon Amphitheater, which includes shows by Lynyrd Skynyrd and ZZ Top on March 24, Riley Green on April 4 and Jason Aldean on October 5.
