UPDATE: Woman killed in crash identified, 4 others hurt

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic collision that happened on Mercer University Drive near Summer Hill Drive Monday night.

UPDATE (11:13 p.m.):  The woman killed in a multi-vehicle crash monday has been identified.

According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, 25-year-old Yeshaya Chantea Dubose was driving on Mercer University Drive when she crossed the center median and collided with another car and a truck.

The sheriff’s office says everyone involved in the crash was treated by paramedics and taken to Atrium Navicent Health.

One of the victims is in critical condition, and three other three victims are in stable condition.

Deputies say the investigation is ongoing, and more information will be released as it becomes available.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic collision that happened on Mercer University Drive near Summer Hill Drive Monday night.

A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office news release says the crash, which involved a silver sedan, a gray sedan and a red pickup truck, was reported to the Macon-Bibb E-911 Center just after 6 p.m.

A female died at a medical facility. Her identification has not been released.

Deputies say five other people are receiving medical treatment.
