Tech Byte: New phones from Apple and Samsung this spring

If you need ideas for Easter baskets this year, both Apple and Samsung have new phones that would be great fits. See the new phones released for spring, their features, and where you can get them.

Apple is continuing their tradition of putting out colorful, springtime phones with the iPhone 14 and 14 plus. This year’s color is yellow. This ray of sunshine  and its available for pre-order now and will be available starting March 14th. The iPhone 14 also comes in several other colors, from red to purple. If you’re looking for a slightly older iPhone, you’ve still got colorful option. The tech company added green for the iPhone 13 in 2022 and purple for the iPhone 12 in 2021.  This spring theme applies to Apple’s smartwatch accessories. Keep an eye out for the new watch band and silicone iPhone cases.

As for Samsung, it’s come out with an upgraded line of Samsung Galaxy smartphone. The S23, S23 Ultra, and S23+ are here with new features. With this lineup, Samsung says they’re taking mobile security to the next level. They feature Samsung Message Guard, which can keep a malicious image in a text message from compromising the device. The S23 also has an upgraded camera and processor.

Like the iPhone 14, these Samsung phones have several colors to choose from – like green, lavender, and even some only available at samsung.com. All of the phones in the Samsung Galaxy S23 series are already available in stores and online.
