Hooked on Science: Filling a bag with one breath

(41NBC/WMGT) — Science Guy Jason Lindsey shows us how to fill a 6 ruler long diaper genie bag in just one breath!

The secret is to not put your mouth on where you’re blowing into but instead leave a space between your mouth and the opening. When you blow into the opening not only does your breath go into the bag, but it pulls air into the bag with it allowing you to fill the bag up in one go!

If you would like to try this experiment yourself be sure to do it in a room with plenty of space to move around in, wear safety goggles and if you’re under the age of 18 have a parent with you.
