Mom to Mom: Healthy banana yogurt snack

On today’s Mom to Mom, a quick healthy snack for the entire family. All you need are a few simple ingredients.
To get started, make sure you have:

  • bananas
  • chia seeds
  • Greek yogurt
  • almond butter*
  • parchment paper
  • a cup

*You can substitute with any nut butter or even sunflower butter. If you use peanut butter, use the natural kind natural with a runny consistency.

Now that you have your ingredients, lay out your parchment paper and start slicing up some bananas. On the parchment paper, take a cup or spoon and smush the banana slices. Next, place a dollop of Greek yogurt onto each banana slice. Top with a drizzle of almond butter and a sprinkling of chia seeds. All that’s left to do is pop the whole thing into the freezer for about two hours.

Once that’s done, you and your kids will have a nice healthy treat with plenty of fiber.
