Cold Wednesday, Warmer Thursday

Very cold start this morning across Middle Georgia. Macon’s low was 27 this morning which is the coldest it has been since march. Temperatures will gradually warm into the mid 50s for this afternoon with an abundance of sunshine. We will start to see an increase of cloud coverage overnight  into tomorrow morning. This will warm overnight lows slightly to the upper 20s to low 30s with a freeze still possible. Thursday afternoon will be partly cloudy with temperatures in the low 60s. On Friday a cold front will begin to move towards the area increasing rain chances to 80 percent. Unfortunately this weekend does not look like a good weekend to have any outdoor plans.  On Saturday we will have a 70 percent chance of showers with temperatures in the low 70s. This will continue through Sunday although we reach 70 degrees. Rain will continue as we head into the work week on Monday. Rainfall anywhere from 2 to 3 inches is expected across Middle Georgia.
