Warmer and dry today

Another cold start across the area this Thursday morning we saw temperatures in the upper 20s to low 30s. This afternoon we will see a increase of clouds to mostly sunny to partly cloudy reaching the 60s this afternoon. Overnight a few showers are possible at 20 percent with much warmer lows in the mid 40s. On Friday a cold front will begin to move towards the area increasing rain chances to 60 percent mainly for Friday evening through the overnight hours. Unfortunately this weekend does not look like a good weekend to have any outdoor plans as Saturday and Sunday will be a washout.  On Saturday we will have a 80 percent chance of showers with temperatures in the low 70s. This will continue through Sunday although we reach the mid 70s. Rain will continue as we head into the work week on Monday, but the afternoon does however look clear. Rainfall anywhere from 2 to 3 inches is expected across Middle Georgia with locally higher amounts possible.
