Cool and sunny weather is back after this weekend’s cold front
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Conditions will be dry and cool to get the new work week rolling.
The Rest of the Evening
Skies will remain clear for most of tonight. Temperatures will largely drop below freezing with winds from the north around 5 mph. Temperatures should not be cold enough to where Middle Georgians need to worry about their pipes, however.
Tomorrow
It will be mostly sunny with cirrus clouds likely to stripe the skies during the afternoon. Temperatures will mainly reach the upper 50s with winds from the northeast around 5 mph.
Partly cloudy skies (exclusively cirrus clouds) will be likely overnight, but these clouds will do little to insulate the region. Temperatures will bottom out around the freezing point ahead of Wednesday morning.
Wednesday and Beyond
While things will begin to warm a bit on Wednesday, high pressure moving into the Ohio Valley region will bring more dry and cold conditions ahead of Thursday. A mess of a system looks to pass through northern Florida this weekend, which could bring some cold rain to parts of the Peach State.
