It will be bitterly cold across Middle Georgia tonight. A Freeze Warning is in effect until 10 AM tomorrow morning for the entire region. Temperatures will likely drop below freezing for most locations with wind chills dipping into the mid to upper 20s. This is courtesy of persistent northeast winds gusting up to about 25 mph. Farmers should spray any crops they have not harvested yet, and parents should ready the heavy winter coats for their children ahead of school tomorrow as well.

Sunny skies will stay with Middle Georgia as temperatures barely eclipse the 60 degree mark in the afternoon. Winds will remain out of the northeast at about 5-1o mph, still gusting upwards of 15-20 mph throughout the afternoon. This will lead to wind chills in the mid to upper 50s for most of the region.

Overnight will once again be well below average for early November as temperatures again plummet towards the freezing point. A Freeze Watch (potentially Warning) should be expected to be issued at some point tomorrow afternoon. Winds will be a good bit calmer from the north, however, resulting in less bitter chills. The heavy coat is once again suggested Friday morning.

Friday and The Weekend

Fri Aa Sat

Temperatures will rebound as plenty of sun stays around Middle Georgia. A few scattered clouds will be likely during the afternoons over the weekend, especially Sunday, as highs climb back towards the mid to upper 70s. The warming trend will continue into next week.
