Keeping it warm again Wednesday
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Temperatures will reach the lower 80s again as high pressure moves away from the Peach State.
Overnight
Skies will be clear with temperatures dropping into the upper 40s and lower 50s. Winds will be rather gentle from the west around 5 mph.
Tomorrow
A mostly sunny day is likely Wednesday with cloud cover likely not making its way into the area until the late afternoon/early evening. Highs will reach the lower 80s as winds continue to feed from the southwest at around 5 mph.
Overnight cloud cover will thicken, resulting in temperatures that fall into the low to mid 50s ahead of Thursday morning. Winds will continue to blow from the southwest around 5 mph.
Thursday and Beyond
Thursday will see limited sun as cloudy skies take over. Temperatures will likely still reach the lower 80s as the cold front is not expected to arrive until overnight. Rain should hold off until late Friday as the cold front stalls out. Temperatures will be in the 60s over the weekend with rain possible Friday, Saturday, and Sunday around Middle Georgia. Mostly cloudy skies will stick around into next week.
