Man arrested for shooting on Fair Street

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — An arrest has been made in connection to the shooting incident that left a 32-year-old woman in critical condition Wednesday night.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says they arrested 50-year-old James Phillips for the shooting on Fair Street, taking him into custody at his home on Log Cabin Drive without incident.

Phillips was interviewed by investigators and taken to the Bibb county jail, he is being charged with one count of aggravated assault. He does not have bond.
