Moped crash at College St. kills 1, injures another
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –A fatal traffic accident at the intersection of College Street and Walnut Street is under investigation.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says that the accident was called into the 911 center at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday. It was reported that a moped ran a red light and collided with a Ford Escape.
The moped driver was identified as 46-year-old Zondollius Reynolds, and his passenger was 30-year-old Lamesha Brown. Both were taken to the hospital, where Brown was treated for her injuries, and Reynolds was pronounced dead.
The driver of the Ford Escape wasn’t injured.
