17-year old shot, killed in Bibb County

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- 17-year old Pedro Garcia died from a single gunshot wound overnight, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called to the 600 block of Villa Crest Avenue, just before 11:30 p.m. Monday.

That’s when they found Garcia. Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones pronounced him dead at the scene.

Garcia’s death is Macon’s 32nd homicide of the year and remains under investigation.
